Transatlantic flight: Coach vs Business class?
I'm planning a flight from Tampa to Paris for my honeymoon this Christmas (one stop in between; total trip time approx. 13 hours overnight). What are the differences between flying coach/economy and business classes regarding leg room, restroom access, noise level, food, and overall comfort for such a long trip?
Also, how bad is jet lag with a 6-hour time difference?

A business class ticket is an average of $2,000 more than a coach ticket for many flights around my travel time.
It will depend on the airline, many airlines will have better food, drinks and wine with tablecloths and real silverware. Many airlines have full flat beds in business class with more legroom than you need. The toilets in business class are for business class passengers only and you rarely have to wait to use them. Unless you're seated upstairs in a 747, the noise levels aren't too much different, although many airlines do offer noise cancelling headphones in business class these day which can make a huge difference. Many airline's also offer on-demand personal entertainment which can really help to pass the time. You'll also get priority check-in, priority baggage handling and priority boarding as well as use of the airline's business class lounge before your flights, and on many airlines a very nice designer amenity kit. Jet-lag with a six hour time difference isn't too bad, especially if you can get a good amount of sleep, which is a lot easier to do when flying business class. Flying business or 1st class is the only way to fly, but whether it's worth the huge difference in price, only you can decide.
