Here are some points to remember:

1. The Keyword should be at the beginning of the first sentence of your article
2. The keyword should be in “bold”
3. The keyword and its synonyms should be used 2-3 times within the body of your article
4. Create paragraphs or write in bullet points or with numbering to make reading easy and interesting. Remember that people like to read lists
5. Write a catchy title. The title should include the keyword and should also make you want to read the rest of the text.

Make sure that your article has at least 200-250 words. Google likes to see a good number of words. You don’t want the article to be too long though, because it is going to turn people off. People don’t want to spend too much time reading your ramblings.

And most importantly for SEO article writing and content development, the content must be unique or you may be sanctioned by Google for duplicate content and your website may even be penalized by the almighty Google.

Important Tip: Use Firefox, save the login info, so as to speed up your article submission process

1. Create a free Yahoo email address for article directory registration
2. use the same username, email, password at all article directories
3. Use a real name (it does not have to be your real name, but has to look like someone’s name.) remember that your article will be reviewed by someone
4. Use a catchy title for your article: eg use “How to do Local Internet Marketing Correctly” instead of just ” Local internet marketing” – You have to make your title intersting for someone to want to read it
5. Make sure that the keyword is at the beginning of the first sentence of the article
6. Use the first 2-3 sentences as an introduction for your article
7. The body of the article should be 450-550 words long. Seperate your article into 4-5 paragraphs
8. Use the resource box at the end of the article to place links back to your website. (See below for the resource box sample. Just change the info, but the format should be the same
9. Place the resource box info at the end of the body of the article if there’s no resource box
10. make sure that you read the instructions for the article directory carefully

But just how do you create one online? I’ve been intrigued with online publishing for some time. In the course of making several online magazines I have figured a lot out. Now I can show you how to create your online magazine.

Portals: Portals are sites that serve up links to other sites that may be of use to the audience. This includes community sites that distribute information. A guide or directory would also fall into this category.

Band Sites: Musical acts that have a web site often wreck the function of it with their artistic megalomania. People come to band sites to experience a couple specific tasks. Help the audience out by fulfilling their needs.

Small Business: Many businesses from ma and pa operations to 100 person companies are trying to get involved in the Internet. The largest problem is lack of knowledge on how to take their off-line company and rebuild it in Cyber Space. In some cases, the transition is too costly. Wordpress can be used as a CMS. However you have to know how to link to other pages on your site. This is very important because a smart link can greatly make your pages or post rank higher.
Wordpress provides the function wp_list_pages() which can be used as a great way to link pages, subpages, and subsubpages to increase your rankings. The implimentation of wp_list_pages() can be tricky though, so I decided to use the Post Footer Plugin.
This is how I caonfigure this plugin.
Go to Settings on your WP admin and click on Post Footer Plugin
Now under “Add Ad before Related Post” leave this blank
And the “Ad Code Script:” is also left blank
Now Add related post list: Yes
And then Maximum number of post in the list: I put 15 or 20
Optional Text: I put some text here with the link to something like so: Some other resources include links to Atlanta houses,
Show Technorati Tags to the end of post: No if I don’t want the pages to have it. If you used pages then You wnat to put a YES here, so that related Pages can show up
Keep Plugin credit: No
